“Look Out Kindergarten Here I Come”
Incoming West Boylston Kindergartners can take advantage of “Look Out Kindergarten Here I Come” a music and stories program that will be held at the Major Edwards Elementary School Library Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:30. This program is sponsored by the West Boylston Coordinator Family and Community Engagement Grant.
It’s geared to help children transition into kindergarten; it’s done with a music therapist and a series of stories and songs about going to school to resolve anxiety, Diane Nicholas states.
In addition, each child will receive a free book about going to kindergarten while parents receive a folder with resources on getting children ready for kindergarten.

Come join other kindergarten students and their families!
This is a fun opportunity for both the children and adults to get to know each other better and find out more about what happens in Kindergarten here at Major Edwards.
Snacks and drinks will be provided to all!
