West Boylston Middle/High School has experienced a storied tradition of athletics dating back to the 1930's. Though being a small school over these 75 years there have been numerous successes in the area of interscholastic athletics. A Committee has been organized to implement an Athletic Hall of Fame for West Boylston Middle/High School which will bring honor and recognition to individuals and teams who have made significant contributions to Lions Athletics.
The Committee has dedicated much time researching potential candidates but is also seeking nominations from the school community and public. Please feel free to use the nomination form to forward information about an individual or team you feel is worthy of consideration for induction. The individual can be a student-athlete (who graduated from Major Edwards HS or WB M/HS) or an honorary (not a graduate but made significant contributions to Athletics).Nominations submitted by Friday, September 26th will be considered for the Class of 2015. The others will be combined with those nominations not selected from the Committee research list and will be reviewed for the Class of 2017.
The selection of the Class of 2015 inductees will take place during the week of October 4th. The Committee's long range plan is to select an induction class every other year on the year of a home Thanksgiving Day Football game. This year's inaugural Class of 2015 will consist of individuals only. Teams will become eligible for induction beginning with the Class of 2017.
The Class of 2015 will be introduced at halftime of the Thanksgiving Day Football game vs. Assabet Valley and the induction ceremony will take place Saturday, November 28th beginning at 12:00 noon at the Manor Restaurant. Tickets for the event will be $35 for adults and $20 for high school students and younger. There will be a buffet or upon request a chicken nuggets and fries meal for children. Forms to purchase tickets are located below and also available in the Main Office of West Boylston Middle/High School or by e-mailing Athletic Director Michael Bartkus at michaelbartkus@wbschools.com. Tickets will be forwarded once the check and form are received.
The Committee is in the process of organizing an induction booklet which will be include a picture and bio of each inductee. Anyone wishing to purchase a full, half, or quarter-page business ad or a personal ad (to recognize or congratulate an inductee) for display in the booklet will have the opportunity to do so. The form is available below and in the Main Office of West Boylston Middle/High School or by e-mailing Athletic Director Michael Bartkus at michaelbartkus@wbschools.com.
The Committee is generally excited about the West Boylston Middle/High School Athletic Hall of Fame initiative and is looking forward to honoring the inaugural class of inductees.

West Boylston Athletic Association will be hosting a Texas Hold-em poker tournament fundraiser on Sunday March 23 rd. At the Mill Restaurant in West Boylston starting at 1 pm.

The Girls' basketball team will be competing against MIllis High School in the District E Division 4 Semifinals at Clark University on Tuesday March 3 rd @ 6 pm.
Cost of the game will be 10$ for adults and 7$ for students.
The Girls Basketball team will host St. Marys HS of Worcester on Wednesday 2-26-14 @ 7pm in the first round of the MIAA Central District Division 4 Tournament.
Cost of the game will be 7$ for adults and 5$ for students and seniors.
